Firstly, I would suggest you to check for any error message associated with Bluetooth Adapter, do the following:

a.Click Start, type Device Manager in the Start search box and hit ENTER.

b.Click View on the Menu bar and select Show hidden devices.

c.Locate Bluetooth Adapter and expand the same.

d.Right-click Bluetooth Adapter and select Properties.

·What’s the exact error, if any, under Device Status?

What is the make and model of the Bluetooth Adapter?

In-order to fix the installing Bluetooth Adapter issue, you can try these methods.

Method 1:

Run the hardware troubleshooter and check the issue status.

Follow the steps:

a.Press “Windows key + W”.

b.Type “Troubleshooter” in the Search box and hit enter.

c.Select “Hardware and Sound” from the Troubleshooter Window.

d.Select “Hardware and Devices” under Devices option.

e.Follow the On Screen instructions.

Method 2:

Install the Optional Updates on your computer; this might fix the Bluetooth Adapter issue

Please check Windows Update to make sure that you have downloaded and installed all of the latest updates, including optional updates.
